Drowning Victim Found at Mosquito Lake

MECCA TOWNSHIP, Ohio –The Trumbull County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a drowning at Mosquito Lake State Park in Mecca Township.

Around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, authorities received a call from a man that his friend fell off a boat into Mosquito Lake and never came up.

The victim’s body was found 500 yards off the shore around 8:40 p.m. His identity has not been released at this time.
