CLEVELAND -- Members of St. Patrick's in West Park are excited that their parish will soon reopen.

"Restoration is coming," says Pat Singleton-Schulte, a St. Patrick's parishioner and activist." The specific details for full restoration have not been totally revealed.

St. Patrick's is one of 11 churches that the Vatican ordered Bishop Richard Lennon to reopen.

He had originally closed 50 parishes as part of a restructuring effort driven in part by finances.

Friday morning, a small group of St. Patrick's parishioners met with Bishop Lennon.

He told them that a full-time priest for the parish would be named soon.

The bishop has indicated that he hopes to have all the restored parishes opened by August 1.
