My Town: The Lantern Theatre Opens in Valley View

VALLEY VIEW, Ohio – It’s a unique way to experience theater and celebrate local and state history.  The Lantern Theatre at Canal Corners Farm & Market has just opened in Valley View.  The historic 1905 Wisconsin-style dairy barn located at 7243 Canal Road is now a cozy place to catch a show. 

Singin’ on the Ohio,  written by Cleveland playwright Eric Schmiedl is now playing.  It’s a moving story about an orphan girl from Cleveland who travels down the Ohio & Erie canal in 1845.

You can purchase tickets for $10 per person.  Show times are 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays now through September 16.  (There are no performances on August 4 and 5).  Seating is limited for the one hour performance.
