WAYNE COUNTY, Ohio — Two men suspected of theft and leading authorities on a pursuit were taken into custody Saturday and Sunday.

Kevin Srock, 26, was arrested Saturday while Zachary Dare, 26, was arrested Sunday afternoon. Both were located by the Montville Police and Deputies from the Medina County Sheriff’s Office and are currently in the Wayne County jail.

Authorities say they found large quantities of drugs and stolen property in their vehicle, as well as tools and firearms. They’re also believed to have broken into at least 14 storage units at Midway Mini Storage in East Union Township.

A 911 caller described seeing two men breaking into the units and got into a brief confrontation with the suspects, who left the scene in a Chevy Suburban. An officer spotted the men and they were pursued into Medina County, stopping in the 7300 block of Wadsworth Road shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday. One suspect fled on foot but was found hiding on River Styx road and arrested shortly before 10 p.m. The second man was found and arrested Sunday.

The arrests are still under investigation.
