Michael Jackson Remembered on Death Anniversary

(CNN) — The legend lives on, though Monday marks the three year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death.

“The King of Pop” died from cardiac arrest in 2009.

The L.A. coroner ruled it a homicide, and his doctor, Conrad Murray, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

According to the coroner, the 50-year-old died from a fatal combination of the surgical anesthetic propofol and sedatives that were administered by his doctor.

Murray has been behind bars since November.

He must serve two years out of his four-year sentence in jail.

Jackson’s mother, Katherine, has permanent custody of his three children.
