4 Rescued From Capsized Vessel In Ohio River By Duck Tour Boat

CINCINNATI, Ohio — Four people who ended up in the Ohio River after their boat capsized were rescued by a ‘Ride the Ducks’ boat Friday afternoon.
Police responded around 3 p.m . to a report of a boat capsized in the Ohio River at 1 Broadway.
Officials say two adults and two children were rescued by a ‘Ride the Ducks’ tour boat when they were in the water with life jackets on.
Officials on the scene found the overturned boat in the water on the Covington side of the river near Greenup Street.
No injuries were reported but the four rescued were taken by ambulance to an area hospital to be checked out.
The cause of the capsizing remains under investigation.
Ride the Ducks boats depart from Newport, Ky., giving tours of the Greater Cincinnati area on land and in the Ohio River.
