Stefani’s Update (6/21): Roger Says He ‘Peeked at God’

Stefani Schaefer’s husband Roger, who is recovering from a 12 foot fall off of scaffolding, said he ‘peeked at God’ while he was in a coma.

On Thursday, she told the story to co-anchor Wayne Dawson and viewers on Fox 8 News.

Stefani said she relayed to Roger how awful the experience was while he was in a coma.

But Roger kept using the word ‘awesome’ to describe that time.

Stefani ended up asking, “Did you see God?”

“Yes, I peeked at him,” was Roger’s answer.

Roger said God also told him, “It’s gonna take a little more time.”

“Did you hug God?” prompted Stefani.

“No, but he hugged the second and third person,” Roger replied.

Stefani suggested that God kept those people and sent Roger back to her.

“That was my understanding,” said Roger.
