My Town: Ice Cream Eating Contest in Massillon

MASSILLON, Ohio – Watch a group of competitors shovel in summer’s favorite treat.  Ohio-based Velvet Ice Cream and Fisher Foods will host an ice cream eating contest on Friday, June 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Fisher Foods, 2216 Lincoln Way East in Massillon.

The person who eats the most ice cream in two and a half minutes will win a six month supply of Velvet Ice Cream.  The stakes are even higher for Massillon Museum Educator Jill  Malusky who is one of the contestants.  If she wins, Fisher Foods will donate $300 to the museum.
