Formerly Missing Berea Man, 84, Found

Gilbert Vagner, 84, was last seen in North Ridgeville around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

BEREA, Ohio — The Berea man who prompted a missing adult alert was located, the Berea Police Department confirmed.

Gilbert Vagner, 84, lives with dementia and was reported missing after he failed to pick his wife up from work.

Vagner was last seen in North Ridgeville around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police said he was located in Portage County before 12:15 p.m. on Thursday and that his family was notified.

Information on Vagner’s condition was not released.
