Report: Stolen Sausage Links Used as Weapon
A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of a man accused of wielding stolen sausage links during a robbery.
According to EnterpriseNews.com, Michael Baker, 22, was charged after allegedly beating a stranger with the stolen sausages and a wrench.
Baker claims he only acted in self defense after the man harassed him and pulled out a knife.
Baker was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, disturbing the peace and receiving stolen property under $250, EnterpriseNews.com reported.
The alleged victim suffered a head injury during the incident.
