Cleveland Police Vehicle Auction Set For Next Saturday
CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Division of Police will be auctioning off cars and trucks that have been abandoned of forfeited to the city next Saturday.
Cleveland Police tell Fox 8 News that the auction will take place on Saturday, June 16, 2012, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Cleveland Division of Police Impound Lot #2 located at 4300 Bradley Road.
According to police 42 vehicles will be auctioned off and the lot will open at 8:00 a.m. for those in attendance to view the vehicles. The event will take place rain or shine.
Police tell Fox 8 News that all sales are final and none of the vehicles come with a warranty or guarantee. A 10 % cash down payment for the winning bid is required and the remainder of the winning bid must be made with-in five days.
Money raised from the auction will be used to purchase new equipment for law enforcement.
