BRUNSWICK, Ohio — Funeral arrangements have been finalized for the fourth victim who passed away from the tragic weekend accident on Boston Road in Columbia Township that claimed the lives of four Brunswick High School students.
A post on the Brunswick High School website, provides information on the funeral services for Kevin Fox.
A wake will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012, from 2-8 p.m. at The Corner Stone Chapel located at 3939 Granger Road in Medina.
A funeral service for Fox will be held the following day at 1:00 p.m. at the same location.
Fox’s family comments on their son’s passing in a statement released through Lifebanc on Tuesday afternoon;
“The car accident in Brunswick is a terrible tragedy and our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families as well as the entire community of Brunswick,” says Gordon Bowen, Lifebanc Chief Executive Officer. “We feel privileged to honor the wishes of Kevin Fox to give the Gift of Life during this most tragic time.” The organization is working with the Fox family and The MetroHealth System in order to make every effort in honoring Kevin’s last wish of organ, eye and tissue donation as well as respect their privacy during this difficult time.
“Our son was a hero for thinking of others and providing the Gift of Life as an organ, eye and tissue donor. His legacy now lives on through others,” said the family of Kevin Fox.
On Monday funeral services were announced for the three other teens who passed away in the accident.

will be held at Saint Ambrose Parish on Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Ambrose Parish on Thursday, June 7 at 9:30 a.m., Burial following at Resurrection Cemetery.
• A wake for Blake Bartchak will be held will be held at Saint Ambrose Parish on Wednesday, June 6 from 2-8:00 p.m.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Ambrose Parish on Thursday, June 7 at 1 p.m., Burial following at Resurrection Cemetery.
• A wake for Lexi Poerner will be held at Jardine Funeral Homes on Thursday, June 7 from 2-8:00 p.m.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Ambrose Parish on Friday, June 8 at 9:30 a.m., Burial following at Resurrection Cemetery.
Also on Tuesday, the family of the lone survivor, Julia Romito, updated the public on their daughter’s condition and again offered thanks.
“Thank you for all the prayers and support we have received. We would also like to send our appreciation and blessings to all the first responders. Julia is the miracle we needed from this tragedy. Julia is doing well and getting stronger every day. At this time, we ask that you please respect the family’s privacy so she has time to continue to heal.”
Romito, Fox, Barchak, 17, Poerner, 16, and Chaya, 18, were all riding in the vehicle that stuck a tree along Boston Road early Sunday morning.
Chaya was the driver of the vehicle which lost control after crossing a set of railroad tracks at a high rate of speed.
