Police: Man Hit Pregnant Girlfriend While She Held Couples Baby

AKRON, Ohio – A Solon man has been charged with several crimes related to a domestic incident where police say he struck his pregnant girlfriend.

According to the Akron Police website, Antonio S. Cuyler, 40, of Solon, was charged with domestic violence, child endangering and unlawful restraint after he and his girlfriend got into an argument.

Police say Cuyler and the victim, who is pregnant with his child, were arguing in a vehicle and he would not let the woman out of the car. Police say he then punched the victim in the face several times and later threw the victim to the ground while she was holding their 16-month-old child.

Cuyler remains housed in the Summit Country jail awaiting his initial arraignment on the charges.
