WILLOUGHBY, Ohio — A woman and her pre-teen daughter were arrested earlier this week when they were caught shoplifting from a department store, Fox 8 News reports.

The incident happened at approximately 8:45 p.m. Wednesday at the T.J. Maxx at Euclid Avenue and Route 91.

According to a post on the Willoughby Police Department’s Facebook page, in-store security officers saw the woman concealing items in her purse. Her 12-year-old daughter was observed delivering the merchandise to her mom.

Willoughby police responded and arrested both females for theft. Mother and daughter stole about $150 worth of merchandise, WPD reported.
