Recipe: LeeAnn’s Leafy Green Salad

Italian Garden Salad
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 head leaf lettuce, chopped
- 1 sm. Red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup banana peppers
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 (6 oz.) can black olives, sliced, drained
- 1/2 cup Romano cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- Caesar salad croutons
Dressing:
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 2 t. olive oil
- 1 T. lemon juice
- 2 T. Karo
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 t. garlic salt
- 1/2 t. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 t. parsley flakes
Instructions:
Assemble first 6 ingredients in a large salad bowl. Sprinkle with Romano & Parmesan cheese. Top with croutons. Whisk dressing ingredients together in a small bowl. Before serving, pour dressing over salad to coat. Serves 10-15.
