ALTAY, China -- A Chinese teenager is inspiring people around the world.
Ma Yong, 18, was born without arms or legs, and was considered a shut-in.
Then in 2004, a group of guards in China's Xinjiang Uyghur (Shin-jahng Weegur) Autonomous Region gave him a new lease on life.
Ma's luck changed when a new recruit decided to take the teen under his wing, and encouraged his comrades to do the same.
Now, the young man can get around and do things like use a computer, mop the floor, eat with utensils and play games.
