Cleveland’s Own Canines Nominated for Hero Dog Awards
It’s up to you to choose the American Humane Association’s 2012 Hero Dog, and some of Cleveland’s own canines are in the running!
Created in 2010, the award celebrates the relationships between dogs and people and brings to light their stories of companionship.
It showcases “ordinary dogs who do extraordinary things.”
Service dogs, therapy dogs and military dogs are just a few of the categories that define a hero dog but it’s the American people who choose the top dog.
People over the age of 18 may take part in the voting.
