Firefighter, 2 Others Hospitalized as Result of Apartment Blaze

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — A firefighter was one of three people sent to the hospital as the result of an apartment blaze early Monday morning, Fox 8 News reports.

Fire crews were dispatched to the Oliver House on Warrensville Center Road in Shaker Heights just after 1 a.m.

After approximately two hours of battling the blaze, one firefighter and two residents were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. There is no word yet on their official conditions.

The fire is now under control. Investigators, however, are still working to determine the cause.
