TSA Apologizes to Mom Forced to Pump Breast Milk

The TSA apologized to a woman whom it forced to pump breast milk in a crowded airport bathroom, the New York Daily News reported.

Amy Strand, the traveler and mother of four, said she attempted to take her expensive breast pump and empty bottles through security at a Hawaii airport.

According to the article, a TSA worker said she had to prove what the bottles were to be used for, and accompanied her to the restroom.

Strand received a written statement on Monday in which the TSA addressed the issue, the New York Daily News reported.
