Back in 1994 during the 36th annual Grammy Awards, Dolly Parton & David Foster presented Whitney Houston a Grammy For Best Female Pop Vocalist.

Whitney won for her song, “I Will Always Love You” from the movie ‘The Bodyguard.’

Whitney was the big winner that night. She won 3 awards including Record of the Year and Album of the Year.

Dolly Parton has released the following statement about Whitney’s passing on her Facebook Page.

“Mine is only one of the millions of hearts broken over the death of Whitney Houston. I will always be grateful and in awe of the wonderful performance she did on my song, and I can truly say from the bottom of my heart, “Whitney, I will always love you. You will be missed.”
