Fake Officer Arrested, Tried To Pull Over Detective

A Milwaukee man discovered that there’s nothing like the real thing, especially when it comes to those enforcing the law.

 A WISN report, says that a 34-year-old man was taken into custody on Monday for impersonating an officer. The man may have never been caught, had he not turned on his flashing red and blue lights in front of a police detective.

According to the WISN report, the detective was driving an unmarked vehicle and saw the flashing lights in his rearview mirror. The lights came from the car of the fake officer.

The report says the detective initially moved his vehicle to the left lane, attempting to let the vehicle pass. As it passed, the detective saw the driver and several friend in the car chuckling.

The detective then drove in behind the fake officer’s car and turned on his own flashing lights.
