CLEVELAND, Ohio-She is being nicknamed, Northeast Ohio's modern-day miracle baby.

Kenley Schiraldi, who is nine months old, was conceived during an infertility treatment at the Cleveland Clinic.

Clinic IVF experts say it's the first time a single sperm has been frozen, injected into a single egg and resulted in a healthy pregnancy.

Kenley's parents struggled with infertility.

Nina Desai, director of the IVF laboratory at the Cleveland Clinic, told 'Today Health' she
hasn’t calculated the odds of Kenley's conception. “It was like a shot in the dark,” said Desai, who developed a ground-breaking technique known as intracytoplasmic sperm injection, or ICSI.

The Cleveland Clinic is hoping to help other patients with this same procedure.
